Another sight at Gunstock Ranch

On Wednesday night, I was back at the Ranch waiting for First Aid/CPR training. I noiced these three water jugs not quite together and took picture with my phone.

The boys started swim lessons this day. As I was sitting on the pool deck, waiting for the boys to finish, I noticed this cat sitting in the sun and decided to take a picture.

Here is S bravely sitting by himself on his second ever visit to the dentist. 

When I forget to take a picture during the day, S’s artwork always saves me. In this photo, R is a superhero, fighting bad guys with S as his sidekick. Believe it or not, this piece was inspired by a YouTube video on the HGTV Handmade Channel.

Birthday gifts ready to go

S was invited to a friend’s birthday party on Saturday evening and spent the entire day counting down excitedly until it was time to go. The party favors he came home with included a live gecko! I am not kidding.

On the 4th of July, we went for a family hike. We made it nearly 5 miles round trip. S probably walked about 95% of the trip (he got carried briefly after falling and scraping his knee) and H probably walked about 60% of the hike.

We tried to take the boys to story time every week during the Library’s Summer Reading Program. On this particular day, the theme was Outer Space and the librarian had made a space helmet and a rocketship as props. H decided to try out the space helmet and then went around hugging his unsuspecting peers.
