So I missed a couple of days–February 20th and 24th, to be specific. I decided to carry on with my project, even if it won’t be perfect. Especially since it won’t be perfect.
February was a busy month. The newness of the new year was wearing off and the reality of juggling many roles was setting in. I was learning that teaching part-time at a University while raising two children under the age of 4 was about as challenging as I thought it might be. Failing to remember to take a few photos documents the challenge perhaps even better than remembering would have.
Despite the challenges, February was a lot fun. R surprised me by celebrating the 14 days of Valentines, we continued our Valentine’s kisses tradition, and we attempted to take the boys on a tour of a local farm (we were mudded out of the tractor ride, so we’ll try again on a dryer day).
I didn’t see much progress in my photography skills this month. I often forgot to take photos until late in the day and had to work with limited light, which I don’t yet have the skills to compensate for. I’m beginning to look forward to the end of the semester when I might be able to spend more time on my hobbies, including this one.
