January 19: Abandoned

I found this abandoned snack cup was on the dining room floor.

January 18: Pose

This natural pose is a classic: sleeping baby with messy face.

January 17: Knobby

R spotted this knobby caterpillar as we took a family walk and I captured it with my phone.

January 16: Reserved

We found this little elephant reserved for us in a cabinet in our old home in Virginia. Now he’s a family mascot.

January 15: In the Air

This butterfly is no longer “in the air” thanks to its unlucky encounter with a black cat. As I walked to work, I saw the cat bat it to the ground and then walk away once its fun was over. I got the opportunity for an extreme close up with my phone.

January 14: Everyday I . . .

Everyday I wash the dishes, and yes, I use my good china–why save it?

January 13: A building

This window washer is working on one of the many Lego buildings we have on display.

January 12: Artwork

One of my practice sketches in my sketchbook

January 11: Open

There was plenty of open space at the beach on this overcast day.

January 10

The boys playing in the pool. R took this photo and I like it better than my photo for the day, so here it is.
