February 7: Old School

Textbooks for background reading for the course I’m teaching.

February 6: Shadows

I saw these shadows on my way through the park for a meeting with the scouts.

February 5: From the Top

This is an image from our class. The small print on the slide includes the words, “Designed at the Top”.

February 4: Heartwarming

A sleeping child always warms a mother’s heart.

S gave up his bed this week for Uncle C and Aunt D.

February 2: A silhouette

S actually took this one, but I supervised.

February 1: In the Dark

It’s not totally dark, but the photo-prompt said it was supposed to be a self-portrait and I remembered it after bedtime.

January 2014

The first month of the new year is already over!  We kept pretty busy this month with our normal routines.  I started teaching preschool again, twice a week, but now there are a total of six boys in the group, not including H.  R started a new semester at the university, as did I, but I’m only teaching one class.  R and I both attending trainings through the university. We took care of doctors appointments for both boys, as well as dentist appointments for S and myself.  For entertainment, we went to the beach, the library, and long walks around town.  This was not an exciting month, but that’s actually the way we like it.

January 31: Focusing

Not sure what he’s focusing on (the TV was off), but it’s something.

January 30: A Game

Snail’s Pace Race is a very popular, non-competive game for the preschool crowd. I highly recommend it, especially if you find a cheap copy at a thrift store like we did.
