S as a PCC drummer

In pre-school, the boys have been studying Tonga. We went on a field trip to the PCC and watched the show in the Tonga Village. Afterwards, S asked if he could try the drums and they were nice enough to let him try.

New Bookcase

While I was gone R assembled this new bookcase for me!

Kamehameha Butterfly

I was very excited to photograph this Kamehameha Butterfly. This butterfly is endemic to Hawaii and I’ve read S a children’s book about it.

On August 15th, I hiked over 16 miles with my classmates. We got to see a lot of interesting biological and geological specimens including this very interesting lava tree formation.
