This is the Mothers Day Card that S made for me at preschool. I thought it was darling.

That, my friends, is S’s brick-built Lego Spiderman. What do you think?

We recently watched a documentary with S about a middle school chess club in New York. S was very interested in chess so we bought a copy of “No Stress Chess” to start teaching him the basics. It’s working reasonably well; he enjoys playing the game so much that he won’t win it, just so that it will keep going.

Another photo to remind myself that I don’t particularly enjoy United or their Star Alliance. Not only do they charge for checked baggage, your carry-on is supposed to be on the small side.

I was too busy being a bridesmaid to document K’s big day with a photo of the actual wedding, but here is a picture of my brother, M, with his new baby girl, C.

My sisters, L and K, at K’s bachelorette party the night before the big day.

Sixteen bottles of Sprite on the wall, take one down, pass it around . . .
Ingredients for punch at my sister’s wedding, neatly arranged at my parents house in anticipation of the big day.

A photo from the San Francisco airport. Godzilla and I have crossed paths many times and I had to document our most recent meeting.

Leaving on a jet plane to go back to Maryland for K’s sister’s wedding.
