Out for a morning walk before getting ready for church.

H, like many toddler boys, is obsessed with cars, trucks, and moving vehicles. When the library had a “Touch a Truck” event, we knew we had to take him. As it turned out, H was more nervous about meeting real monster trucks in person than we expected.

Another photo assignment. This time I was supposed to take a photo of a single subject using every setting on my camera. This took a long time, since my new camera has lots of settings. One of the settings is called, “Impressive Art” and I like the humor of seeing our Piggy Bank labeled “Impressive Art”.

Another photo assignment. This one was to take a photo of my favorite room in my home. I don’t really have a favorite room in this home, but this is the room with the most light and where the clutter is most manageable. Therefore, I deemed it the most photogenic.

H, the artist, in his blue period.

I was trying to complete an assignment from a photography lesson when it started to rain. The expression on S’s face may seem to some to communicate, “Mom, can I come in from the rain now?” but in actuality it does not. What S was really asking was, “Mom, can I stop standing still now and play in the rain?”

This was H’s artwork.

R and the boys used leftover cake decorations to make some art. This was R’s work.

We had a lovely walk on the beach on Satuday and I got lots of good shots. This one was my favorite.

We celebrated my birthday with a progressive dinner of sorts through local eateries. S requested this picture.
