March 19

H climbed up on me as I was fiddling with the menus on the new camera. While I was distracted, H decided to try on my glasses and I got this shot.

March 18: Duplicate

R and I got a babysitter Tuesday night so that we could attend his department’s banquet for graduating seniors. I ended up taking many duplicates ( or at least near duplicates) of this shot for many of the students in the picture as well a few of my own. Good luck class of 2014!

March 17: A Shamrock

I noticed this little plant growing out of some rocks near our garage door. When I went back to take a picture, it was getting dark and the leaves had folded up close to the stem in the cooler evening air. So I picked the plant, took it inside and tried to flatten the leaves out enough to get a picture.

Zoo Trip

I didn’t get to take many photos at the zoo, but here are a few moments to document the trip.

Pool Day!

Sometime we most of our good photos come on the same day. Here is a photo collage of the boys playing in the pool.

March 16

The photo prompt for Sunday was “Cheers” and after 3 hours of church and another 4 spent in committee meetings. I was none to cheerful. This out-of-focus camera shot of my street, taken with my phone on the way to my last committee meeting is not a beautiful photo, but it is an accurate representation of my day!

March 15: Hard

I took the boys to the zoo by myself while R was working, administering a test at the university. The zoo visit itself wasn’t hard, but finding a parking space was!

March 14: Mark the Spot

It was Pi Day, and we marked it!

March 13

The photo prompt for the day was “Irish”. The only photos I took were during my Webelos meeting as the boys worked on their Craftsman badge–at least the paracord was green.

March 12: Arranged

R arranged for me to have a chance to go shopping–I need a light blue dress and a pair of silver shoes for my sister’s wedding in May. These may not be the silver shoes I wear in the wedding, but since they fit my rather large feet and they were on a super-sale I picked them up as a back-up.
