Just one of the sights we saw on our walk around town yesterday.

We’re still not sure why this fire engine was at our neighbor’s home, but H loved seeing it!

Thursday night was Pack Meeting and the Space Derby. Here is a picture of my neighbor, and fellow Den Leader, testing out one of the boys’ rockets.

We took the girls hiking the Nakoa Trai. It was a muddy 5 mile hike, but it was beautiful.

I went camping with the Young Women from our church on the 25th. Here is a shot of one of our other camp leaders tending our very aromatic fire. She was preparing the coals for cooking foil dinners.

This still isn’t quite the shamrock photo I was imagining on March 17th, but it is closer.

I love photos of lonely toys. They speak to me and the reality of my life. I took this photo with my phone (because of the photo prompt of the day).

Earlier this month, I took S to story time a the Wailua library where we completed this leprechaun craft together. It’s pretty obvious which parts S colored and which parts I colored, but I guarantee it was all done on his terms! I only colored the parts I was directed to color.

The 21st was a lovely day, so we took the boys for an afternoon walk. We took several nice pictures that day, but I am fond of this shot of H.

S and H have both been lucky enough to benefit from the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. Each month both boys receive an age appropriate book selection in the mail. This month, S received Cinders: A Chicken Cinderella by Jan Brett. He took it to bed with him along with some of the titles he’s received in previous months.
