There is a lot of noise in this photo, but I love the glow of the light in H’s hand, not to mention the warmth of his smile and the obvious affection between father and son.

I made it through another month without missing a photo (though obviously, the quality varies greatly)! We spent our time celebrating birthdays, holidays and trying to do at least a little good. The tractor ride was probabably the highlight of the month for our two little boys.
In preschool, S had a unit on “Imagination and Creativity”. It would be hard to say whether S or I got more out of the unit. Teaching about imagination and creativity inspired me to finish numerous craft projects including (but not limited to) the placemats, the puppet theater, and the embroidered T shirt shown in the photos. It also encouraged me to be a little more deliberate about the pictures I took (at least on most days). I still haven’t taken much effort to improve my technical skills in photography, but I had far fewer desperation shots this month. I actually tried to consider the prompt from the photo list when I took the photos.

H is incapable of insincerity and he is sincerly enjoying himself on this tractor.

This was one of our wedding gifts. I hope our legacy to our children will be one of love.

The tree went up and so did the gate.

Father and son

As we filled this box for Operation Christmas Child, I tried to imagine the child who will recieve our gift. I hope the the box brings them joy and contentment, at least for the day.

The iron does not belong on the kitchen counter, but that is where it ended up.
