September Summarized

September was a huge change of pace for us.  Since the course I’ve been teaching for the university isn’t offered this semester, I’ve had break.  It’s been nice being a full time stay at home mom again.  I’ve been amazed at how much I’ve been able to accomplish now that I suddently have an extra 20 hours a week–for example, I’ve finally updated this blog.

I’ve continued teaching S’s preschool group 2 days a week.  S also got invited to attend another preschool group; in this group, the mom’s take turns, so I only teach that one every third week.  S is excited to have preschool 4 days a week.  He also enjoys gymnastics and swim lessons and I’ve enjoyed seeing him gain confidence with both skills.

H is walking now and he’s started talking.  He only says two words, “Mum/Ma-Ma” and “Ball”, but he also uses sign language for “all done”.  Now that he’s walking, he certainly seems to think he’s a big boy and likes to help himself to toys and food.  It’s exciting to see his personality develop more each day.
