May 3: Animals

A visitor to our yard.

April

In April we found out we were moving and then moved a week or two later.  Not surprisingly, I took fewer photos in April and missed more days of taking photographs than any other month so far.  Still, the end result does a pretty good job of capturing the chaos that is moving.  My favorite photo is from April 18th.  Not coincidentally, that fenced yard is also my favorite thing about the new house.  The story behind April 13 makes me smile as well.

April 29: Blooming

Red Hibiscus in our new front yard.

April 28: Harsh Light

And harsh life as well. We passed this roadkill on the way home. For some reason, I started humming a tune from childhood, “O Tom the toad, O Tom the toad, why are you lying in the road?” R insisted that I take a picture and unfortunately, it is the only photo I took that day.

April 27: Passed Down

Now it’s H’s turn to ride in the seat in the front of the cart.

April 26: Overgrown

The gray isn’t, but some of the other spools are.
