June in Review

June marked the end of a summer term and the beginning of vacation and lots of travel.  We went to the Big Island and then to the mainland.  R had conferences in both locales.  We were able to see family and friends on the east coast, visit historic sites, amusement parks, playgrounds, museums, and national parks.  Notably, I finally visited the homes of Thomas Stone and Dr. Mudd many years after having attended schools named in their honor.  We had a great time.  On the way home from our east coast trip, we had some problems with our flight and ended up getting an unexpected stay in Phoenix, which allowed us an impromptu visit with old friends from college.

I didn’t really use the photo list this month, so many of the titles were forced and some I couldn’t even think of a way to stretch it.  There were several desperation shots, but also some photos of the boys that really make me smile.  I think I’m working on a project 347 now (there are two additional photos that I’ve taken, but not posted).
